Optimal performance awaits! Designed to improve fitness so athletes can refine their ability to perform a specific sport, performance training at Healing Motion encompasses the analysis of movement patterns, identification of potential future injury risk resulting from faulty patterns, and addressing the impairments leading to those faulty patterns to prevent injury. Impairments may be corrected using restorative manual therapy, stretching, and cuing during exercise. Cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and sport-specific techniques and drills load the athlete’s body to prepare him/her for optimal performance of his/her respective sport by enhancing cardiovascular and muscular endurance, strength, power, speed, agility, quickness, and reaction time.
We work with athletes involved in all sports, including but not limited to:

Performance training is not traditionally covered by insurance. We offer packages that include one-on-one sessions with a Doctor of Physical Therapy or packages that include one-on-one sessions with both a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.Â
