Dr. Dane Happeny, PT, DPT, OCS, CF-L1
Corvallis Clinic Operator, Physical Therapist
Dr. Happeny joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in December of 2019. He was working his own cash pay physical therapy business when he decided to team up with Healing Motion Philomath to expand into a second location in Corvallis.
Dane grew up in Medford, OR. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Oregon State University in 2010. He then attended Chapman University, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy with Academic Excellence in 2013.
Dane has been a physical therapist in Corvallis since 2013. He has completed additional Orthopedic Residency training and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1), and a certified Emergency Medical Responder. Dane has a passion for treating athletes, specializing in the shoulder for baseball and other overhead athletes. He works frequently with the Crescent Valley High School baseball team as well as other local high school sports teams, triathletes, CrossFitters, and strength and endurance athletes. Dane customizes individuals’ care toward their goals for recovery and educates them on how to surpass their goals and maintain a higher standard of health, wellness, and fitness.
In his free time, Dane enjoys spending time with his wife, Tracy, three children, Easton, Ellery, and Lawson, his extended family and friends, and rooting for the Beavers in any and all athletic events. He also enjoys community service, working on a never-ending list of household projects, strength and performance training, and anything outdoors including running, hiking, skiing, and competing in recreational sports.

Dr. Peter McMillan, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. McMillan joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April of 2021, after almost 4 years practicing in a clinical outpatient setting.
Hailing from Coburg, Oregon, Peter graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While at Oregon State University, he was an active member of OSU’s club ultimate frisbee team and the triathlon team. He moved immediately after to Denver, Colorado, where he spent 3 years exploring the Rocky Mountain outdoors and earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with honors at Regis University.
Peter loves to be outdoors. He has completed a marathon, a half marathon, a 25k trail run, a half iron man, and multiple Olympic triathlons. This has led him to especially enjoy treating runners, helping them resolve injuries and improve mechanics for safer and stronger movement. He is particularly knowledgeable about foot, ankle, knee, and hip injuries.
He is goofy and loving; dad to Lucy and Holden, husband to Hilary, and friend to many. In this season of parenting young children, Peter doesn’t have as many endurance races on his schedule, but he does enjoy getting outdoors and disc golfing, hiking, cycling, and running. When the outdoors is soggy, he enjoys a little competition playing board games with his wife and friends.

Dr. Michelle Tyndall, PT, DPT, LSVT-BIG
Physical Therapist
Dr. Tyndall joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in January of 2022.
Michelle grew up in San Diego County and attended undergrad at Biola University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, pre-Physical Therapy, in 2016. After which, she moved to Oregon and fell in love with everything about the Pacific Northwest. Michelle then went to the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas, where she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy with honors in December 2021.
Michelle is also certified in LSVT BIG allowing her to offer specialized care to individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
Growing up, Michelle loved playing all types of sports and growing with her teammates through the seasons. She has coached and trained athletes on and off the field and looks forward to passing along her passion to other athletes. Michelle enjoys yoga, hiking, running, reading, and hanging out with her family in her spare time.

Dr. Cassie McDonald Ross, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist, Pelvic Health Specialist
Dr. McDonald Ross joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August of 2022.
Previous to Healing Motion, Cassie was a clinic director at an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Michigan where she fostered the growth of a women’s health/pelvic health program. She decided to join Healing Motion after her husband’s job called for a relocation to Corvallis.
Cassie grew up in Michigan, graduating with her Bachelors in Mathematics from Olivet College in 2013, then attending Grand Valley State University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating in 2017.
Cassie has been a physical therapist since 2017, starting out initially as a generalist orthopedic physical therapist. Through her interests and personal experiences, she has found her passion and calling in the pelvic health specialty. She has a passion for treating patients through pregnancy, postpartum, with pelvic pain, among other pelvic floor conditions. Cassie’s main goal as a physical therapist is to foster confidence in patients’ ability to manage their own condition and belief in the resilience of their body.
Cassie now lives in Corvallis with her husband, Joshua, and their two young sons, Graeme and Finn. Josh is a coach at Oregon State University, so you will likely see their family around campus rooting for the Beavers in any event! She is finding her way back to fitness following her own postpartum journeys and struggles, and is looking forward to getting back into yoga and weightlifting. Cassie also has a passion for service to the community and really looks forward to joining in and contributing to the reputation that Healing Motion has for involvement in the community.

Dr. Alana Chaplin Arey, PT, DPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist
Alana joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April of 2023.
Alana grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2018. While at Portland State, she was a member of the Tennis, Cross Country, and Track and Field Team. Alana attended Washington University in St. Louis, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021.
Alana has been a physical therapist in Corvallis since 2021 and has experience working with a variety of orthopedic injuries. She is passionate and knowledgeable in treating athletes to include runners, tennis players, soccer players, wrestlers, gymnasts, etc. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist which further enhances her ability to treat those looking to get back to their sport.
Alana utilizes both manual therapy skills, exercise, and movement analysis to individualize each patient’s treatment and help them achieve their goals.
In her free time, Alana enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys cheering on all things Oregon State, especially Oregon State Gymnastics, in which her parents are the coaches.

Ann Miner
Front Office Manager
Ann joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in November of 2020.
Ann grew up in rural northwestern Oregon and attended Multnomah University in Portland. She married her college sweetheart and they raised their three children in Lebanon. Ann is enthusiastic about serving others and has over 20 years of experience in an office management setting that she brings to Healing Motion.
Ann loves to travel and welcomes the opportunity to help her husband with overseas mission projects. She also enjoys home life and is happy with family, friends, and a good book close by.

Andrea Chavez Valenzuela
Front Office Administrator
Andrea joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in June of 2023.
Originally from Nevada, Andrea has lived in Oregon for about 15 years and counting! Andrea has worked in the medical field for about three years and has also experience in the immigration law field. Andrea’s goal is to be a voice for the Hispanic community; to help provide the necessary resources to assist with their medical needs.
Andrea’s big motto in life is that nothing is impossible if you set your mind and heart into it.! In her downtime, Andrea loves to draw, work on puzzles, listen to classic rock, and most importantly spend time with her family.

Lupe Santibanez
Front Office Administrator
Lupe joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August of 2023.
Lupe was born and raised in Monrovia down in Southern California. In 2016, she moved to Philomath to attend school for Psychology, but then changed majors to Diagnostic Imaging. Lupe has always been interested with having a career in the medical field since she was little. She has assisted her family with their medical needs, always intrigued and enthusiastic to learn more behind the scenes. She’s loves applying her passion to help others in the medical front office setting.
Lupe is a very proud first generation chicana. If she’s not at home doing puzzles or arts and crafts with her daughter, she’s out at the park with her pup, Ursula. Lupe loves to have game nights or go out and explore the town.

Tammy Bowman
Front Office Administrator
Tammy joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in October of 2022.
Tammy grew up North of Chicago. While attending Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana, she met the love of her life and they raised four children in Michigan until moving to Corvallis nine years ago. And yes, one of those amazing kids is our very own, Dr. Emma Bowman!
Tammy is a firm believer in movement as medicine. She is an avid trail runner who enjoys ultra marathon distances. Giving back to the community is important to Tammy. She helps lost or missing people as a member of Mary’s Peak Search and Rescue.
In her free time, Tammy enjoys hanging out with her family, a good strong cup of coffee, and training her dog Miles.

Jacob White
Physical Therapy Aide
Jacob joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in May of 2022.
Jacob grew up in Reno, Nevada, and now currently attends Oregon State University. Jacob is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and plans to attend graduate school for Physical Therapy.
Besides working and studying, Jacob likes to spend a lot of time in the Bible and reading C.S. Lewis. Next to that he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, road trips, drawing, and running. He also enjoys weightlifting and competing in recreational sports such as pickleball.
