Dr. Alana Chaplin-Arey, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, CSCS
North Albany Clinic Operator, Physical Therapist
Dr. Chaplin-Arey joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April of 2023.
Alana grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2018. While at Portland State, she was a member of the Tennis, Cross Country, and Track and Field Team. Alana attended Washington University in St. Louis, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021.
Alana has been a physical therapist in Corvallis since 2021 and has experience working with a variety of orthopedic injuries. She is passionate and knowledgeable in treating athletes to include runners, tennis players, soccer players, wrestlers, gymnasts, etc. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist which further enhances her ability to treat those looking to get back to their sport.
Alana utilizes both manual therapy skills, exercise, and movement analysis to individualize each patient’s treatment and help them achieve their goals.
In her free time, Alana enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys cheering on all things Oregon State, especially Oregon State Gymnastics, in which her parents are the coaches.
Dr. Erik Cronrath, PT, DPT, CMPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Cronrath joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in November of 2022.
Erik was born and raised in Battle Ground, Washington. He moved to Oregon to attend Corban University for his undergrad in 2008. While at Corban, Erik played college basketball all four years and ran track his senior year. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Erik worked as a PT aide and groundskeeper for several years before applying to physical therapy schools. Erik graduated from George Fox University in 2020 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
After graduating from George Fox University, Erik practiced in Silverton, Oregon, working in both the hospital and outpatient clinic setting. This combination allowed him to often see patients’ first steps after surgery and then help guide them through their outpatient rehab journey. Erik has a strong desire to embolden his patients to achieve their goals and help them reach new heights they did not believe possible!
When not at work, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife Hannah and their four children, Elliana, Michaelyn, Jameson, and Barrett.
Dr. Stephanie Deering, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Deering joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in June of 2024.
Stephanie was born and raised in Arroyo Grande, California. She attended University of California, Davis and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior in 2019. She enjoyed her time swimming with the UC Davis swim club team and interning with the UC Davis Sports Medicine Program. She worked as a PT aide in Vacaville, CA for 2 years before moving to Lebanon, OR to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In May 2024, she completed her DPT from Western University of Health Sciences-Oregon, graduating with honors in the inaugural class.
Throughout her time at WesternU, Stephanie took Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy courses, immersed herself in academia, and held the office of student government treasurer/class representative all 3 years. She also applied herself in diagnostic ultrasound research which was presented at the APTA Combined Section Meeting in Boston, MA in 2024.
When not at work, Stephanie enjoys her nature walks/hikes with her dog, Sadie. She stays active by swimming at the local community pools and can often be found creating delicious baked goods in her kitchen!
Dr. Baylie Cameron, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Cameron joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in September of 2024.
Baylie grew up in Silverton, Oregon. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Linfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance: Exercise Science in 2020. While at Linfield, she played for the women’s soccer team and ran sprints/hurdles for the track and field team. She also pursued research in organic chemistry and worked as a tutor/teaching assistant in anatomy and physiology courses. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon and graduated in 2024. While in the program, she completed clinical rotations in a variety of settings, including sport-specific physiotherapy with a professional rugby team in South Africa.
Baylie has experience treating a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Her special interests include sport-specific rehab, concussion management, balance training, vestibular function, and chronic pain. She enjoys treating with a collaborative approach, using creativity, empathy, and clinical insight to meet unique patient goals.
In her free time, Baylie loves to stay active through outdoor sports, weight-lifting, and yoga. Her hobbies include painting, reading, gardening, and traveling. She also serves the community as a volunteer for the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA). She enjoys spending time with her partner, Timothy, and cats, Yeti and Ruby.
Dr. Jireh Pejana, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Pejana joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in October of 2025.
Dr. Pejana was born in Cebu City, Philippines. Growing up, his grandfather was tetraplegic. Dr. Pejana often assisted with meals and home care for his grandfather; this is where his passion for healthcare first developed. In 2009, he moved to the United States with his family.
After graduating high school, Jireh completed his associated degree at Mendocino College before attending Sonoma State University where he double majored in Applied Mathematics and Kinesiology. After graduating in 2020, Jireh worked at a local outpatient physical therapy clinic for over a year before starting his physical therapy program at Western University of Health Sciences in 2022. He graduated from Western with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May of 2025.
Outside of work, Jireh enjoys trail running, paddleboarding, and snowboarding with friends. He is very excited to start his career in Oregon and be a part of the Albany community!
Madison Elzinga, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Madison joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in February of 2026.
Dr. Elzinga earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Western University of Health Sciences–Oregon after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology at Brigham Young University–Idaho. Originally from Yucca Valley, California, Madison relocated to Oregon to pursue her passion for Physical Therapy alongside her husband, Joshua, who is also a Physical Therapist.
Madison has a lifelong passion for movement and fitness. She competed in long-distance track and earned her black belt in Taekwondo, experiences that helped shape her appreciation for discipline, perseverance, and the body’s ability to heal and adapt. These experiences continue to influence her approach to patient care and rehabilitation.
Madison is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love through individualized, evidence-based care. She enjoys working closely with patients to help them improve mobility, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals in a supportive environment.
Outside of the clinic, Madison enjoys hand embroidery, hiking, exercising, spending time with her husband, and caring for their two cats, Sven and Luna.

Kristy Deeds
Front Office Manager
Kristy joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in February of 2023.
Kristy was born in Wyoming, and raised in Montana and Oklahoma. She relocated to Oregon 9 years ago and considers it her forever home. Kristy lives in Albany with her husband Josh, and their many beloved animals.
Kristy has a deep love for travel, exploring new cultures, and eating her way through a vacation. In addition she enjoys gardening, going to estate sales, watching live music, spending time with friends and family, and going on outdoor adventures.
Kristy is a passionate runner, currently training for multiple marathons. She completed the New York City Marathon in 2022 and uses her love for running to raise awareness for the rare disease, Epidermolysios Bullosa. Kristy is the co-founder of Pursuit for Patterson, a non-profit dedicated to advocating for the rare disease community, which she has been a part of for 7 years.
Angel Yang
Front Office Administrator
Angel joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April of 2025.
Angel was born in Merced, California, and later relocated to Lebanon, Oregon, to be closer to her family. Driven by a strong passion for helping others and a deep interest in the medical field, she began her career as a medical assistant before transitioning into a role as a student services coordinator at a medical trade school. Since moving to Oregon, Angel has loved being part of the team at Healing Motion Physical Therapy, where she enjoys working alongside amazing coworkers and supporting incredible patients.
Makoa Matthews
Front Office Administrator
Makoa joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April of 2026.
Makoa was born and raised on the southern Oregon Coast, and moved to the Corvallis area to attend Oregon State University. She graduated from OSU in 2024 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. Since undergrad, she has completed her Group Fitness Instructor certification and got into long distance running!
In her free time, Makoa loves pursuing fitness, going camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Michelle Martin
Physical Therapy Aide
Michelle joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in May of 2024.
Michelle was born in Boise, Idaho, but moved to North Bend, Oregon at a young age. She now resides in Corvallis, Oregon pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology through dual enrollment with Linn Benton Community College and Oregon State University. After graduating she plans to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy!
Outside of work and school, Michelle enjoys being outside, camping, traveling, and being with friends and family. Her favorite way to travel is by cruise ship, enjoying the good food and drinks alongside the company of family and friends!
Mia Johns
Physical Therapy Aide
Mia joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in February of 2026.
Mia was born in Lynnwood, Washington, and recently moved to Corvallis, Oregon to attend Oregon State University. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Public Health, and plans to continue her education by earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy after graduation.
In her free time, Mia enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors with friends. Her favorite activities include hiking, snowboarding, spikeball, volleyball and basketball. When she’s staying in, she enjoys movie nights, board games, and daily dinners with her roommates.
