Dr. Paige Perkett, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Perkett joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August of 2023.
Paige grew up in Northern California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Sacramento with her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Therapeutic Rehabilitation in 2015. She later traveled to Big Sky country to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Montana, Missoula, graduating as an AHEC scholar in 2019.
After graduation, Paige turned to travel physical therapy. This led her to Oregon, where she was able to find herself in a position to help start a new program to embed a physical therapist in a primary care clinic. She has spent the last three years working alongside various primary care practitioners. This collaborative effort to best serve the patient was aimed to provide researched-based, preventative, psychologically-informed, and non-pharmacological care. She helped provide access to direct the patient to the best health care professional to meet their needs. A Primary Care Physical Therapist truly sees it all, requiring knowledge in a variety of presentations/conditions such as acute/chronic orthopedics and neurological/vestibular conditions within a wide age range.
Paige is beyond ecstatic to share her knowledge to the Philomath Community, where she lives, to aid in empowering a person’s ability to improve their life experience. She is currently studying with Physiological Oncology Rehabilitation Institute (PORi) to become an oncology specialist to best serve the needs of our community. In addition to this, she enjoys treating a variety of patients with special interest to include: preventative health, acute/chronic orthopedic conditions, and neurological/vestibular therapy.
Outside of work, Paige spends time enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Rory, their friends/family, and their dogs Scooby and Harlow. Whether she is traveling to a new country, fishing on the Alsea, mountain biking in McDdonald Forest, or hiking up Mary’s Peak, you can catch Paige exploring and enjoying this dynamic world we live in.
