Dr. Gail Baggett, PT, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapist
Dr. Baggett joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in May of 2021.
Gail grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa and spent her summers as a camper and camp counselor in northern Wisconsin. In 2001, she graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where she studied history, psychology, and secondary education. In December of 2005, she graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Iowa.
Gail has been a physical therapist since 2006. Before moving to Oregon, she worked in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinics in rural Iowa and Louisville, Kentucky. In late 2008, Gail and her husband moved to Oregon and Gail served Oregon State University students as a physical therapist with Student Health Services. In October of 2020, Gail joined the faculty of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Education program at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, OR where she serves as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education.
Gail is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and earned a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. Gail enjoys working with patients of all ages and stages of life. As a physical therapist, she strives to “help people help themselves.” As a mother of two and the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, she is passionate about treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
Outside of work, Gail’s passion is her family and friends. She and her husband, Ben, have two children. As a family, they enjoy camping, hiking, reading, watching movies, and walking to get ice cream or frozen yogurt. Gail is also a jogger, baker, periodic music maker, and former Ironman triathlete.
