Dr. David Holte, PT, DPT, CMPT, CSCS, PN-1

Dr. Holte joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in May of 2024.
David grew up in Iowa where he spent most of his time playing soccer. He graduated from Wartburg College after playing 4 years of soccer and majoring in Biology with a minor in Psychology.
He attended the University of Iowa for graduate school and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016. While in physical therapy school, David also obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certificate through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Additionally, he coached competitive youth soccer. After graduating from physical therapy school, David found his way to the Pacific Northwest where he met his wife, Kristen. David completed a manual therapy focused residency and passed his Certified Manual Physical Therapy (CMPT) certificate through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2018. David enjoys treating concussions, dizziness, running, orthopedic injuries, and sports injuries/return to sport.
David has a strong passion for strength and conditioning. This passion led him to start and co-own Advanced Training in Performance, which trains youth athletes in Eugene and Springfield. He has also obtained his Level 1 Precision Nutrition certificate to better help his patients find and maintain a healthy life.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristen, and daughter, Emmerson, lifting weights, and anything outdoors including camping, hiking, skiing, and learning how to fly fish.
