Dr. Cassie McDonald Ross, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist, Pelvic Health Specialist – Telehealth only!
Dr. McDonald Ross joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August of 2022. Previous to Healing Motion, she was a clinic director at an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Michigan where she fostered the growth of a women’s health/pelvic health program. She decided to join Healing Motion after her husband’s job called for a relocation to Corvallis.
Cassie grew up in Michigan, graduating with her Bachelors in Mathematics from Olivet College in 2013, then attending Grand Valley State University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating in 2017.
Cassie has been a physical therapist since 2017, starting out initially as a generalist orthopedic physical therapist. Through her interests and personal experiences, she has found her passion and calling in the pelvic health specialty. She has a passion for treating patients through pregnancy, postpartum, with pelvic pain, among other pelvic floor conditions. Cassie’s main goal as a physical therapist is to foster confidence in the patient’s ability to manage their own condition and belief in the resilience of their body.
Cassie now lives in Corvallis with her husband, Joshua, and their two young sons, Graeme and Finn. Josh is a coach at Oregon State University, so you will likely see their family around campus, rooting for the Beavers in any event! She is finding her way back to fitness following her own postpartum journeys and struggles, and is looking forward to getting back into yoga and weightlifting. Cassie also has a passion for service to the community and really looks forward to joining in and contributing to the reputation that Healing Motion has for involvement in the community.
