Dr. Dane Happeny, PT, DPT, OCS, CF-L1
Corvallis Clinic Operator, Physical Therapist
Dr. Happeny joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in December of 2019. He was working his own cash pay physical therapy business when he decided to team up with Healing Motion Philomath to expand into a second location in Corvallis.
Dane grew up in Medford, OR. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Oregon State University in 2010. He then attended Chapman University, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy with Academic Excellence in 2013.
Dane has been a physical therapist in Corvallis since 2013. He has completed additional Orthopedic Residency training and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1), and a certified Emergency Medical Responder. Dane has a passion for treating athletes, specializing in the shoulder for baseball and other overhead athletes. He works frequently with the Crescent Valley High School baseball team as well as other local high school sports teams, triathletes, CrossFitters, and strength and endurance athletes. Dane customizes individuals’ care toward their goals for recovery and educates them on how to surpass their goals and maintain a higher standard of health, wellness, and fitness.
In his free time, Dane enjoys spending time with his wife, Tracy, four children, Easton, Ellery, Lawson, and Tucker, his extended family and friends, and rooting for the Beavers in any and all athletic events. He also enjoys community service, working on a never-ending list of household projects, strength and performance training, and anything outdoors including running, hiking, skiing, and competing in recreational sports.
Dr. Alana Chaplin-Arey, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, CSCS
Physical Therapist
Dr. Chaplin-Arey joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in April of 2023.
Alana grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2018. While at Portland State, she was a member of the Tennis, Cross Country, and Track and Field Team. Alana attended Washington University in St. Louis, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2021.
Alana has been a physical therapist in Corvallis since 2021 and has experience working with a variety of orthopedic injuries. She is passionate and knowledgeable in treating athletes to include runners, tennis players, soccer players, wrestlers, gymnasts, etc. She became board-certified in Orthopedics and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist which further enhances her ability to treat those looking to get back to their sport.
Alana utilizes both manual therapy skills, exercise, and movement analysis to individualize each patient’s treatment and help them achieve their goals.
In her free time, Alana enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys cheering on all things Oregon State, especially Oregon State Gymnastics, in which her parents are the coaches.
Dr. Joshua Miner, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Miner joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in May of 2024.
Josh grew up in Lebanon, Oregon working on a variety of grass seed, cattle, and orchard farms throughout high school. After high school, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in December of 2020. Following Arizona, he moved to Fresno, California where he earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from California State University of Fresno in May of 2024.
Throughout Josh’s schooling and clinical rotations, he was able to work with a variety of patients including neurological, vestibular, athletic, geriatric, pediatric, cardiovascular, and lymphatic. He has learned to love incorporating techniques and interventions that translate individually to the deficits of those that he is working with. His main goal as a physical therapist is to help individuals of all types find their movement that is uniquely impactful to them and that they look forward to everyday.
Running has been an outlet for Josh since he was young, and he loves exploring new trails. He completed his first marathon in October 2023 and plans to continue pushing his limits with many more. He also enjoys lazy days watching movies and playing games with loved ones. He is an avid sports fan and keeps up all things NFL/NBA/MLB!
Dr. Natalie Garcia, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Garcia joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in June of 2024.
Natalie grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She received her Bachelor of Arts from California State University of Northridge in 2016. She then attended Western University College of Health Sciences in Oregon, graduating as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in May of 2024.
During her schooling, she had the opportunity to work at Western University’s pro bono clinic. This experience not only honed her practical skills but also instilled in her a sense of empathy and commitment to serving others. She tailors programs in order to meet the needs of each person she encounters.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and loved ones.
Dr. Timothy Rossmere, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Rossmere joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in September of 2024.
Growing up in San Jose, CA, Tim developed a strong passion for sports and wellness, particularly through his love for ice hockey, which he still pursues in a men’s league in Sherwood. Tim’s journey into physical therapy began after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in 2021.
Driven by a desire to help others achieve their physical potential, he pursued a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Pacific University, graduating in May 2024. This academic foundation has equipped Tim with a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation and human movement.
Before transitioning into physical therapy, Tim spent eight years in the fine dining industry, where he refined his skills in customer service and creating exceptional experiences. This background informs Tim’s approach to patient care, as he integrates aspects of hospitality into his practice to ensure that each patient feels supported and valued. His goal is to provide not just effective therapy, but also a positive and engaging environment that fosters recovery and well-being.
Tim’s clinical rotations have afforded him valuable experience working with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic issues, high school athletes, and children with neurological conditions. This diverse exposure has strengthened his ability to tailor treatments to individual needs, reflecting his commitment to personalized care. Outside of work, Tim enjoys playing and watching sports, cooking, traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with his girlfriend.
Dr. Corey Borromeo, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Borromeo joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in October of 2024.
Corey grew up in San Diego, California and attended San Diego State University for undergrad, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Pre-Physical Therapy in 2018. He attended physical therapy school at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon and graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May 2024.
During his clinical rotations in physical therapy school, he worked with a variety of patient populations in the hospital and outpatient orthopedic setting that included post-operative care. He enjoyed working with a multitude of athletes, specifically baseball players at the youth, high school, and collegiate level. He believes in tailoring exercises specifically for the patients’ needs and goals for everyday activities to improve their quality of life.
Corey’s lifelong love for baseball started as a toddler, which led to coaching at the travel ball and high school level prior to physical therapy school. Multiple injuries throughout his baseball career is what inspired him to become a physical therapist. In his spare time, Corey enjoys spending time with his fiancée, family and friends, working out, playing baseball/softball, basketball, flag football and golf, and cheering on the San Diego Padres and San Diego State University athletics.
Dr. Eric Ahrns, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Ahrns joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in July of 2025.
Eric grew up moving throughout the United States and overseas, most recently moving to Oregon from Alaska. Eric graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2014. He then received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley University in 2017.
Eric has passion for working with aspiring athletes of all ages and abilities as he customizes treatment for each patient to progress towards more active and community connected lifestyles. Eric has experience working with children and families through patient and family coaching to build mobility skills for greater participation in family and community activities. Eric enjoys treating patients experiencing mobility limitations, particularly of the foot/ankle, as well as athletes such as cyclists, mountain bikers, and triathletes as he seeks to guide each patient to a higher level of fitness and performance. Additionally, Eric has a passion for clinical education to help mentor the next generation of physical therapists!
Outside of the clinic, Eric spends time with his wife and dog pursuing outdoor adventures. Eric and his family are avid mountain bikers in addition to enjoying paddle boarding, whitewater rafting, and disc golf. Eric also has a passion for cooking and bread baking as he enjoys connecting with others through sharing a meal and good conversation.

Alisha Carlson
Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach
Alisha joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in October of 2025.
Alisha Carlson is a coach, speaker, and host of The StrongHer Way podcast. With a background in Exercise Science and certifications in Precision Nutrition, Functional Strength Coaching, and Neuro-Coaching, Alisha brings a unique, brain-based approach to health and fitness.
Her own journey began as a self-described couch potato who transformed into a runner, competitor, and strength athlete—only to discover in 2018 that the “healthy lifestyle” she had built was just another diet in disguise. That wake-up call reshaped her philosophy and fuels the work she does today: helping people break free from the noise of diet culture and build real strength that lasts.
Alisha specializes in a functional approach to strength training designed to help men and women move better, live pain-free, and thrive in every arena of life. Her clients not only improve their fitness but also grow stronger, more confident, and healthier inside and outside the gym. By integrating mindset, movement, and lifestyle, she equips people with tools they can use for a lifetime—not just a season.
Outside of coaching, Alisha is a proud military wife, mom of two, and dog lover. You can usually find her lifting weights, cooking, traveling, or exploring the outdoors with her family. She’s been featured in Authority Magazine and other podcasts, and is passionate about helping people unlock the freedom and confidence that come from being strong in both body and mind.

Amy joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in September of 2025.
Born and raised in Oregon, Amy has always had a strong interest in the medical field so she obtained her associates degree in medical administration where she could use her strengths to help support amazing medical teams and patients. Amy has just over seven years of medical office administration experience — the last six of which have been in Gastroenterology. Amy’s own experience as a patient sparked a deeper interest in physical therapy, and she truly values the personal, one-on-one relationships that are built between the therapists and their patients.
In her free time, Amy is truly a home body. She enjoys taking care of her plants and spending time with her fiancé and five fur babies. She has three dogs named Yoshi, Rayne, and Buddy, and two cats named Oscar and Stella.
Lupe Santibanez
Front Office Administrator
Lupe joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in August of 2023.
Lupe was born and raised in Monrovia down in Southern California. In 2016, she moved to Philomath to attend school for Psychology, but then changed majors to Diagnostic Imaging. Lupe has always been interested with having a career in the medical field since she was little. She has assisted her family with their medical needs, always intrigued and enthusiastic to learn more behind the scenes. She’s loves applying her passion to help others in the medical front office setting.
Lupe is a very proud first generation chicana. If she’s not at home doing puzzles or arts and crafts with her daughter, she’s out at the park with her pup, Ursula. Lupe loves to have game nights or go out and explore the town.

Luke Calhoun
Physical Therapy Aide
Luke joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in January of 2025.
Luke was born and raised in Seaside, Oregon. He is currently attending Oregon State University for his undergraduate degree, studying Kinesiology with a PTAH option in Physical Therapy. Luke is a first-generation college student driven toward the end goal of becoming a physical therapist. Luke has always had an interest and desire to be part of the medical field and due to his personal experiences, physical therapy is the path he has decided to take!
Andrea Zepeda-Chavez

Andrea joined Healing Motion Physical Therapy in June of 2023.
Originally from Nevada, Andrea has lived in Oregon for about 15 years and counting! Andrea has worked in the medical field for about three years and has also experience in the immigration law field. Andrea’s goal is to be a voice for the Hispanic community; to help provide the necessary resources to assist with their medical needs.
Andrea’s big motto in life is that nothing is impossible if you set your mind and heart on it! In her downtime, Andrea loves to draw, work on puzzles, listen to classic rock, and most importantly spend time with her family.
