Our mission is to move ALL to excel in health, wellness, and life. To do this, we HAVE to be pushing all people toward fitness.
Here are the helpful resources we discuss in this blog all in one spot:
The definition of fitness: the condition of being physically fit and healthy. We teach you all about why this is important in our Fitness Forward Lifestyle blog.
It’s the “fitness forward” passion that makes us want to treat everybody we interact with as an athlete.
The definition of an athlete: a person who is proficient in sports and other forms of physical exercise.
Strength is the foundation on which we can physically exercise AND build our fitness and overall quality of life.
We like to say, strong people are harder to kill, and in general, more useful. That is why we have created these tips and resources. Are primary goals with these tips and resources are as follows:
- Encourage/motivate/inspire you to move as close to fitness and as far from sickness as possible on the sickness-wellness-fitness continuum (explained in Fitness Forward Blog).
- This is our mission and is the magic pill to improve your quality and longevity of life.
- Help you understand the 7 Foundational Movement Patterns and how to progress as far into each pattern as possible.
- Help you identify your biggest areas for improvement in mobility and strength that are limiting you from progressing further along our strength progressions.
- This will correlate directly with your personal functional and performance goals.
- Help you control the controllables and balance your overall health with our 6 Pillars of Health.
- Hint: exercise/activity are only the 6th pillar. You HAVE TO balance your other 5 pillars as well!
- Maximize your performance, reduce your risk for injury, and when you do get pain, maximize the speed and independence at which you recover.
